I think you will discover as topics increase that due to the tree structure, finding your way around the board will become complex and tedious . I suggest you do away with all the topics on the first page and just have one topic "ENTER HERE" which leads you to all other threads.

I've been struggling with no phone for the past three weeks - the phone company I was using - Bulldog - cut me off by mistake (  yes, they really can do that, so have been trying to get a new line put in. ...argghhhh!)
Can't do the editing until the broadband is back on, but will certainly simplify the board if it helps. Any other suggestions - clearly we need a bit more publicity and some more members, so if there is anyone you know who can post a friendly link from their website, please ask them! |

Have looked around and think some content is needed to interest men. Other forums for women have huge traffic , but men are not so into talking about nothing.
Might be good to start a simple website with info and links about DS and attach this forum to it. But make the forum with all the threads together on one page like this ; http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/forumdisplay.php?f=568&order=desc
For a while many of the google ads on the forum were about "Sex hungry housewives in your area " etc. Don't know if these can be filtered, but I don't think they give the right tone to the forum. |

Yes, could try that. The forum is indeed linked to http://www.downswest.org.uk but I was hoping it might go a bit wider than just DS - and hopefully it will given time and some promotion. Sadly I've been without a computer connection at home for the past four weeks so not much chance to do more than pop in from the library and check the mail.
Didnt see the "horny houswives" links - you must be luckier than me  or maybe your cookies are "enabled" better than mine 
I think blokes probably chatter as much as the ladies, but are probably more reserved about intimate matters, anyhow I have tickets for Glasgow Rangers Home UEFA match next week so maybe I shall be raving on about it...or will I be crying in my beer
